9:00 am - 10:15 am: Boys 6th
10:15 am - 11:30 am: Boys 4th
11:30 am - 12:45 pm: Boys 7th
1:00 pm - 2:15 pm: Girls 4th/5th + 8th
2:15 pm - 3:30 pm: Boys 5th
3:30 pm - 4:45 pm: Girls 6th/7th

Sunday, October 4 @ MHS

10:00 am - 11:00 am: Girls 6th /7th
11:00 am - 12:00 pm: Boys 5th
12:00 pm - 1:00 pm: Boys 4th
1:15 pm - 2:15 pm: Boys 7th
2:15 pm - 3:15 pm: Girls 4th/5th + 8th
3:15 pm - 4:15 pm: Boys 6th

Although players are only required to attend one tryout session, attendance at both sessions is strongly encouraged. Tryouts are closed to everyone other than evaluators and persons assisting with tryouts.

Registration is now open for the MBA Travel Teams. Please see PROGRAMS > TRAVEL for more information about the tryout process.

Registration is open now for Boys 8th, though the actual tryout will take place after UMS school team selection is completed – usually mid November.

Please email the Travel Director with any questions, or if your child has a conflict with both tryout sessions.

GHA Fall Shooting: Registration Open

Registration is now open for the Fall 2026 Grundy Hoops Academy Wednesday Night Shooting w/ Coach Grundy!

Details
Each of these 60 minute workouts (6:00PM – 7:00PM) will take place at Montgomery High School. The Shooting program is open to both boys and girls who will be entering grades 4 - 8 in September.

Each workout will start with 10 minutes of form shooting before we begin the work on the shooting machines, 6 to each machine. Sessions are limited to the first 24 athletes that register.

Each of these 75 minute training sessions (5:30PM – 6:46PM) will take place at Montgomery Upper Middle School. The Skill Development program is open to both boys and girls who will be entering grades 2 - 8 in September.

New MBA Website Launched

The Montgomery Basketball Association is excited to announce the launch of our new website and registration platform with TeamSnap ONE.

Updated Website
The new website has a refreshed look and updated content. It will also host schedules and registration links. This should be the one-stop shop for all things MBA!

App Integrations
With the new TeamSnap ONE platform, all teams – travel & rec – will have access to the newly updated, totally ad-free TeamSnap One mobile app. The app will make it easy to keep track of schedules, and schedule changes, and to communicate within the team.

Registration
All registrations will live on the website. You'll be able to see them when they go live and no longer need to worry about tracking down a missing link.
