The Braves - Johnson lose 7-6 to the Yankees-Herbert

Cole Ramsey did all he could to give the Braves - Johnson a boost, but it wasn't enough to get past the Yankees-Herbert, as the Braves - Johnson lost 7-6 in six innings at H6 on Saturday.

Cole racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Braves - Johnson. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the third inning. The Yankees-Herbert were sparked by Michael Mungenast and Jonathan Hill, who teamed up for nine hits and three RBIs. The Braves - Johnson jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the top of the first. A double by Cole , plating Alex Key started the inning off. The scoreboard lit up again for the Braves - Johnson when Ramsey scored on an RBI double by Tristen Jenkins. It didn't take long for the Yankees-Herbert to answer as they scored two runs of their own in the first. The Yankees-Herbert scored on an RBI single by Connor Kelley and a passed ball. The Yankees-Herbert scored one run in the second inning, and then followed it up with one more in the sixth. In the second, the Yankees-Herbert scored on an error, scoring Caleb Smith. After posting two runs in the third, the Braves - Johnson again scored two in the sixth. In the third, the Braves - Johnson scored on an RBI single by Cole , plating Matthew Gray. The Braves - Johnson tied the game in the sixth on a passed ball that scored Ethan Thomas.
