The Braves - Johnson cruise past the Red Sox-McDougal, 10-4

The Red Sox-McDougal didn't put up much of a fight on Tuesday, as the Braves - Johnson cruised to a blowout 10-4 win in five innings at H6.

It was a good day at the plate for the Braves - Johnson's Cole Ramsey. Cole went 3-4 and scored one run. He singled in the first and second innings and tripled in the fourth inning. The Braves - Johnson pounded the Red Sox-McDougal pitching, as six hitters combined for 11 hits, five RBIs and eight runs scored. The Braves - Johnson never surrendered the lead after the first inning, scoring four runs on a two-run double by Grier McDonald and two singles. The Braves - Johnson piled on two more runs in the top of the second. Matthew Gray singled, scoring Joseph Hinshaw to start the inning. That was followed up by Cole 's single. After pushing across two runs in the bottom of the third, the Red Sox-McDougal faced just a 6-3 deficit. An RBI double by Nathan Gordon and an error gave the Red Sox-McDougal life. But, Cole got Madden McDougal to ground out to end the inning. The Braves - Johnson added four more runs in the top of the fifth. Grant Dowlen's single got things going, bringing home Ethan Thomas. That was followed up by Alex Key's single, scoring Grier and Grant.
